About RanchRadar
A roster tracker for Pokémon Champions
The short version. Every day the Roster Ranch offers new recruits, and the game doesn’t make it easy to tell whether you already own one. RanchRadar keeps a list of your Pokémon you can flip to in a second: type a few letters, see how many you have, flip back to the game. It’s free, works offline, and doesn’t need an account.
How it works
- Open the recruit screen in Pokémon Champions and look at today’s offer.
- Switch to RanchRadar and start typing the Pokémon’s name. Each result shows how many you own, permanent and on trial, right in the row.
- Decide and switch back. If you recruit it, add it with one tap, as permanent or as a 7-day trial.
Over time that list becomes your whole box: a sprite grid or a detailed list you can filter by status and type and sort by name, Dex number, trial ending soon, recently added or most copies.
Who it’s for
Anyone recruiting at the Roster Ranch who has lost track of what’s already in their box, whether you’re building teams for Ranked Battles or just collecting. It’s made for quick checks in the middle of your daily routine, so it opens fast, works without a connection once loaded, and stays out of your way.
What it tracks
- Every copy you own, each as its own entry, so duplicates with different natures sit side by side. Regional forms and cosmetic variants like Alcremie flavors and Florges colors are tracked too.
- Trials, with a countdown on each one, expired trials flagged, and one tap to make one permanent or return it to the Ranch.
- Box space, counting every copy against your slots, including what Ranked rewards, the Starter Pack and membership add.
- The current season, so Pokémon outside the regulation in effect are marked. The regulation pages list every season’s Pokémon, Mega Evolutions and held items.
Questions
Is RanchRadar free?
Yes. Everything in the app is free to use. In the future, ads may help cover running costs; they’ll be kept away from the parts you use to check your roster.
Do I need an account?
No. Without one, your roster is saved on the device you’re using. An account (Google, Discord, or email and password) adds sync, so the same roster shows up on your phone and your computer. If you already have a roster when you sign in, you can bring it into the account.
Where is my roster saved?
Without an account, only in your browser’s storage on your device. It never leaves it. With an account, a copy is also kept on our server so your devices can sync. The privacy policy has the details.
Does it connect to my game or Nintendo account?
No. RanchRadar can’t see your game or your Nintendo account. You add Pokémon yourself, which takes a tap from search.
Can I use it on my phone? Can I install it?
Yes. It runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers. You can also install it like an app: on iPhone or iPad, open it in Safari and choose Share → Add to Home Screen; on Android, or on a computer with Chrome or Edge, use the install option in the browser menu or address bar. Once it has loaded, it works offline.
Why is one of my Pokémon greyed out?
It isn’t part of the current regulation, so it’s dimmed and tagged “Not in” the season’s name, like “Not in M-C”. It stays in your roster, since you still own it, and it’ll light up again if a later season brings it back. The Season filter can hide those Pokémon if you’d rather not see them.
What happens when a new season starts?
RanchRadar switches to the new regulation on its start date. If the app is open when that happens, it asks you to refresh so it can load the new list of Pokémon. Your roster doesn’t change. Each season’s full list goes up on its regulation page as soon as it’s announced.
How do trials work?
Add a recruit as a trial and RanchRadar starts a 7-day countdown. You can also set the exact time left if you add it later. When a trial ends it’s flagged as expired, because it still takes a box slot until you return it in the game. Make it permanent or return it with one tap.
How is box space counted?
Every copy you own, permanent or trial, takes one slot. You start with 30, reaching higher Ranked tiers raises it to 50, the Starter Pack adds 50 and a membership adds 1,000 while it’s active. Set what applies to you under Box space in Settings.
How do I move my roster to another device?
Sign in on both devices with the same account and it syncs on its own. Without an account, use Export roster in Settings to save a backup file and Import backup on the other device.
How do I delete my data?
With an account, choose Delete account in the account menu; it removes the account and everything saved with it. You can download a copy first with Download my data. Without an account, clearing this site’s data in your browser removes your roster.
Which languages does it support?
English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, French, German, Spanish and Italian. Pokémon names and search follow the language you pick in Settings.
Is RanchRadar official?
No. It’s an independent fan project and isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK or The Pokémon Company. The mascot is Torkoal.
Who makes it, and how do I get in touch?
One developer who plays Pokémon Champions and wanted an easier way to check recruits. The code is open source on GitHub. For questions, bug reports or ideas, email ranchradar.dev@gmail.com.
