RanchRadar

Terms of service

These terms cover your use of RanchRadar, the website and app at this address. By using it, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use RanchRadar. In these terms, “we” means the developer who runs it.

An unofficial fan project

RanchRadar isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK or The Pokémon Company. Pokémon, Pokémon Champions and all related names and images are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to identify the game the tool works with.

Accounts

Using RanchRadar fairly

Don’t use RanchRadar to break the law or to harm the service or other people. In particular, don’t:

We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these rules. Where it’s reasonable, we’ll tell you first.

Your content

Your roster and notes belong to you. You allow us to store and process them only as needed to run RanchRadar for you, for example to sync them across your devices.

Game data

Rosters, regulations and other game details are compiled by hand from official announcements and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Check anything important in the game itself.

Source code

RanchRadar’s code is open source under the GNU AGPL-3.0 and available on GitHub. That license covers the code; these terms cover using the service we run.

No warranty

RanchRadar is free and provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t promise it will always be available, error-free or that your data will never be lost, so keep a backup using the export in Settings.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any lost data, arising from your use of RanchRadar. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us to use it, which is nothing. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Changes and ending the service

We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top, and we’ll tell you in the app if a change is significant. Continuing to use RanchRadar after an update means you accept it. We may also change or shut down RanchRadar. If we shut it down, we’ll give notice so you can export your roster first.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the laws of your country give you protections that can’t be waived.
